Code

I code by day as a software engineer for Red Hat.

Whenever I can find the motivation and spare time I code on several personal projects available at Dangerously Incompetent. Most have never seen the light of day, some are still under active development, but the main ones are:

  • wuja: A Gnome applet for integrating with Google Calendar. By far our most popular project thus far.
  • rounder: An as-of-yet unreleased poker server/client for GNOME.
  • cheapskate: A Ruby on Rails budgeting application I wrote and used before I discovered the joys of GnuCash.

You can view pretty much any of our code and the activity around it with gitweb.

I've contributed small amounts of code to the following open source projects:

  • Revelation: A Gnome password management application that I already find very useful and will be even more so after the author completes his current work. My contribution was a small parser for CVS files exported by a Palm password management application, SplashId.
